She graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Dentistry in 1995 with the first degree. In 1996, she started her doctorate education at the same university in the Department of Pedodontics and completed her thesis titled "Evaluation of ART (Non-Traumatic Filling Procedure) as a Preventive Measure in Rural Diyarbakır Region" in 2001 and received the title of Pedodontist.

He worked as "Assistant Professor" in the same department between 2004-2011 and received the title of "Associate Professor" in January 2011.

In 2014, he started to work as "Associate Professor" at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Pedodontics. In 2016, he received the title of "Professor" from Mustafa Kemal University.

At the same university, he held administrative positions as Vice Dean, Centre Director, Head of Clinical Sciences Department and Head of Department. Prof Dr Behiye Bolgül, who has more than 50 international and national publications, nearly 100 international and national papers and translated the book "Weinberg, M., Froum, SJ. The Dentist's Drug and Prescription Guide", is married and has 1 child. She serves at Dentgroup Antalya - Lara Kids Clinic.
